Professional Practice

Despite all scientific theory, the study programmes at the Institute for Physical Geography and Landscape Ecology are very much focussed on the professional practice in the landscape ecology sector. We therefore cooperate with many practitioners who work on and research many geographic and landscape issues, thereby paving the way for a career after university.

In order for a career to succeed seamlessly after graduation, internships in institutions outside the university are mandatory in the study programmes. We are very willing to help find an internship, but all students are free to find one themselves.
