MOVE Webinar Series Part 5 – Case study La Réunion

As part of the knowledge exchange of the EU MOVE project, the University of Trento, in collaboration with the Regional Science and Technology Fund of the Azores and PhyGeo, is running a series of webinars on the activities and progress in the different project case study regions.

These webinars offer the opportunity to:

(a) promote the exchange of information on the MAES process in the overseas countries and territories

b) discuss relevant experiences between partners, regional stakeholders and the general public.

Participation is free, but registration is required. The fifth of seven MOVE webinars will focus on the La Réunion with the following topic:

Ecosystem services assessment for the terrestrial and marine domain

- Spatial assessments of marine and terrestrial ecosystem services with the use of open-access remote sensing data and habitat maps.

- Economic valuation of a set of services and ways of linking this information to anthropogenic pressures and potential planning policies.
