MOVE Webinar Series Part 6 – Case study French Guiana

As part of the knowledge exchange of the EU MOVE project, the University of Trento, in collaboration with the Regional Science and Technology Fund of the Azores and PhyGeo, is running a series of webinars on the activities and progress in the different project case study regions.

These webinars offer the opportunity to:

(a) promote the exchange of information on the MAES process in the overseas countries and territories

b) discuss relevant experiences between partners, regional stakeholders and the general public.

Participation is free, but registration is required. The sixth of seven MOVE webinars will focus on French Guiana with the following topic:

Assessment of land use changes based on different spatial imagery classifications and deforestation data. Furthermore, we will present the first overview of ecosystem services bundles for the different land use/land cover classes throughout French Guiana. Finally, the impacts of land use changes on the supply of ecosystem services will be discussed.
