The contract for the MSc Double Degree Program 'Management of Land and Water Resources' as a cooperation between the Yamagata University (YU) Japan and the Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) was signed on 16.05.2019 by LUH President Prof. Dr. Volker Epping and afterwards directly handed-over to Prof. Dr. Larry Lopez (YU) by Dr. Jens Groß and Prof. Dr. Benjamin Burkhard.
The program can now start for the winter semester 2019/20 and is aimed at students of the LUH master course Landscape Sciences (LaWi). Future LaWi students can thus spend part of their studies at YU and receive a degree from both universities at the end of their studies. The same applies to YU students.
