New employee and new project at the Institute

We are happy to welcome Malte Hinsch at our institute as a new scientific employee! Malte has successfully studied our Master's program Landscape Sciences and will now work in the new project "ModBieN – Spatial Modeling of Pollination Ecosystem Services in Niedersachsen for Sustainable and Regional Landscape Management", funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation DBU. In ModBieN, the model approach ESTIMAP will be used to simulate the potential occurrence of pollinating bees and the supply of the regulating ecosystem services pollination.
