ROSEMARIE brings together top scientists with strong record in inter- and transdisciplinary ecosystem services (ES) research to conduct critical systematic reviews on the Baltic Sea ES and their contribution to human health and wellbeing and to analyse methods and models to estimate both monetary and non-monetary values of marine ES. ROSEMARIE aims at delivering credible, reliable and policy-relevant evidence for marine planning and policy-making to facilitate smart decisions for sustainable blue growth. Institutional understanding is used in developing recommendations for effective use of valuation methods and their outputs in different marine planning and policy-making contexts.
